Andermatt's freeriding and touring area, with its almost legendary certainty of snow, encompasses an area of 300 km², with summit heights up to 3,200 m and various powder descents. There are always untouched slopes to discover here.

The offer is held in German. Therefore, a basic understanding of German is important. Our mountain guides have a basic knowledge of English and can provide the necessary information in English. Often there are guests on the tours and courses who are happy to help with the translation.
We recommend that you take out cancellation and repatriation insurance, e.g. with ERV.

Day 1 Individual arrival at Andermatt and welcome by the mountain guide. Following a short introduction to avalanche transceivers/safety, you’ll head on the slopes for some technical instructions and practice rides. And then it's time for your first turns in the powder snow!
Day 2 Our mountain guides know the freeride opportunities around Andermatt like the back of their hand. Depending on snow conditions, they will choose the most suitable descents and ensure you have plenty of powder snow fun. Possible destinations include the short but no less varied runs at Nätschen, one of the countless Felsental options or the famous Giraffe on the Gemsstock. Or want to head south? If so, there's a great descent via the Gloggentürmli to Airolo.
Our mountain guide will bring the ordered rental equipment to the meeting place. The following equipment can be rented:
